Concept Corillian Freighter

I've only been doing small amount's of Scratch Building for quite some time now, so I thought it was time to get back into it. So I spent some time looking through my 'Art of' Book's and came up with a nice little Concept Drawing in 'Star Wars. The Art of Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith'.
There's no Scale given so I'll just guess, so off to the Craft Shop to pick up some Sheet Styrene and various other interesting Styrene bit's.
I've also bought some Balsa as it make's a perfect Core to encase and makes the Subassemblie's nice and sturdy.
First I cut the rough shape of the Cargo Container, I can then work out the size of the ship once I've made up a few.
The edge's are then shaped ready to be Clad in Styrene.
Here I have Three size's of Container's as the artwork show's. The one on the Left is almost finished, its all covered with Styrene and all the gap's have been filled with Mr Surfacer 500. I'll sand it and reapply filler where nesessary. The one in the middle needs it's Styrene cap on plus the Triangular Detail piece. The one on the Right is just the rough shape of the smaller Containers and is ready to shape.
These Three have taken about a day to get to this point, once I have them completed, I'll use them as Masters and make up some Block Moulds for them.
Thats about it for now guys, Thanks for looking.
Andy.
